another twist you could do is that you get to pick one 32+ year old and have him in his prime(must declare which player this is as soon as you pick him), the player must be under contract for next season though, LTIR guys like Shea Weber/Carey Price included. Plus you have prime Thornton/Gio/Parise/Suter/Kessel/Vlasic/Stastny/Wheeler/Etc



Even prime Crosby/Ovie would be fun

There would be no point to this and would just create too much confusion imo. Most guys analyzing the rosters during the tournament bracket won't take the time to determine if it's Crosby 2012 in that line-up they are assessing or if it's the current Crosby.

I would just eliminate the "variation" idea altogether if most people on here are "Generation Z."

If @hockeynorth will be too busy to run it, is there anyone else that would be interested in running this instead? (i.e. @LT ,etc).
