If it happens, I am surprised that Oakland went after one of the better rental relievers available. I had them pegged as a potential wild card team at the start of the season so I am not overly surprised by their success so far, but I figured they would just add some inexpensive (asset wise) veterans like Shields for the rotation and a reliever or two.

Intrigued to see how this plays out and I hope he ends up in Oakland. Familia-Treinen would be a great back end duo in the bullpen for the remaining two months.
