I'd be asking for a trade. Sanford has not played at a level to warrent ice time, let alone the 2nd line. So the whole "earn it" schtick is BS.

He needs to be traded or waived. He's still at a critical point in his career where this shit can cost him future contract money.

We haven’t seen the last of Fabbri yet. He’ll get his chance this year. I thought he’s looked pretty good when he’s been in there.

Which is exactly why it is so confusing as to why he isn’t in there.
I asked JR about it. Same generic Berube quote. Someone mentioned itll be an Ian Cole situation. I'm starting to agree.

He seems to be held to a different standard then other players who arent playing well. I think it puts way too much pressure on a guy and causes more problems.
