Wow.

Kudos San Jose. A bunch of meh for a monster.

Considering it is for an impending UFA, and we may not have the cap space to keep him, I don't think it is necessarily a win, but Burns is probably my #1 target for the Sharks. Could easily cost the team Clowe, Pavelski, Couture, or Setoguchi down the line.

With this deal, we will take offers for Dany Heatley. We want a speedy top six forward (kind of like Milan Michalek), or we will not trade him. Keep in mind he is an all-star, and will only accept a trade to a contending team where he can showcase his abilities.

Carter, any prospect, any pick availible. Carter will only be dealt for the top goalie we need. Also looking for a winger for Giroux, or a 3rd line center

In need of a goalie, 3rd line center. Morris/Aucoin are now available for either of those pieces, and OEL is still on the table for a 1st line center.

With the 2nd and 11th overall in this draft we are willing to move one or both for the right offer. No "what will it take" PMs will get a response. Make a serious offer and we'll work from there.

:bruins are still looking to pick up two top 6 wingers and a top 4 defenseman. #9, #40, and possibly Rask and Kelly could be moved to make a deal happen.

:sens Trade Block & Needs

Sergei Gonchar - has a full NMC and would likely only waive it in order to join a top contender. Didn't have the best of years in Ottawa but then again who did. Looking for a pick/prospect or a combination of both.

Peter Regin - in what was supposed to be his breakout year, Peter had a slow start to the year then suffered a season ending injury which closed the books on a disappointing year. Looking to package Peter with other assets in order to land a young top-six forward. Not looking for picks in return.

Jesse Winchester - cheap, affordable fourth line centre who plays well in the dirty areas. Looking for a pick or a mid level prospect.

Brian Lee - absolutely flourished when given the opportunity to play with Chris Phillips and developed into a steady shutdown defender. At worst a cheap #4-5 defender. Looking to package Brian with other assets to land a young top-six forward.

Matt Carkner - steady stay-at-home defender always sticks up for his teammates. Could be moved for either a pick or a prospect.

Nashville's 2011 1st / our 3 2nd round picks - willing to package one of these picks along with one of the aforementioned assets for a young top-six forward.

Don't expect many prime pending free agents to resign. Few exceptions will be made (ie Selanne), and most players will test the market.
