Should expect to hear his name early in next season’s QMJHL draft. He is a promising player from the maritimes - Smart player - already defensively responsible at such a young age, it’s not something that you see too often of a player his junior. He already has good size, skating and puck skills, reminds me of Dawson Mercer in a sense. Either way, should he interesting to see how things play out!

Nope, to oversimplify it - It allows recruitment at the expense of a teams first and/or second round selection in the USHL draft.

It happens frequently for players of this calibre, where they sign a tender In the USHL, then it allows them to pick their CHL team of choosing essentially.
