Wow. Has to be in the running for top pick in 2023 now, eh?
We'll see. 2023 draft looks stacked. Just like 2022. But Dalibor looks promising. Center with very good size for his age - 6'0"(almost 6'1") and 187 lbs. Very good, agile skater, great on his edges too, soft hands. Cant wait to see him in our national team (U18/U20).

Dvorsky was nominated for the U18 national team for 2 matches with the Czech Republic and 12.2 17:00 cet will make his debut in the national jersey. In the nomination there are also other 2005 like Molnar, Strbak and Eperjesi and a lot of players with the year of birth 2004 like Nemec, Mesar, Petrovsky, Zlnka etc.

Simon Nemec last season. Gaborik was only 15 when he debuted in Slovak league, he also scored a goal in his first game.

No, Gaborik was 16 years and 27 days when he debuted in Slovak league. And yes he scored in that game and was the youngest goal scorer ever in that league until Dvorsky came.

Have any other players played in a men's league at such a young age?

Yes, there have been more 15-year-old players in European pro leagues. Even in the Slovak Extraliga, Dvorsky is "only" the second youngest player in history - Andrej Podkonicky was 15Y/4M/19D at the day of his debut in 1993. There have been a total of seven 15-year-olds in the Extraliga so far.

But I do think he is the youngest goal scorer among Top 8 European leagues, at least nobody has proven me wrong (yet).

This would be alot of pressure on him, though Slafkovsky did look good, it might be too much for Dvorsky at that age
For me he’s better skilled than Slafkovsky and better skater. He’s also bigger than Mesar (reason why he only played few games) so I don’t think physical problems will be major concern. Right now there is no C’s in front of him who are skilled enough to keep up with chromiak and Slaf. Who would you rather have there? Myklukha will likely fit with Mesar and another winger on second line. Kaslik does not have enough offensive creativity to play 1C.

Yeah but this tournament isn't only about skill, despite his weight his muscular development will be behind 19 years olds. Next season he will still be young enough to be an underager at u18s. He can definitely be on the team but starting as number one center might be too difficult a task at this stage

There is still much time till the next WJC, a lot can happen, also that Dvorsky will be prepared to play as 1st center

Drafted by the Chicago Steel in the 15th round of the USHL draft. Him and Fantilli would be a pretty nice combo
Doubt it happens but it would be a dynamic duo and fun to watch. Latkoczy is there too so he’d have another slovak to help him adjust. That Chicago steel team looks pretty loaded after winning this year and would be even more so if Dvorsky joined.

Who knows, Chicago is a perennial powerhouse . Dvorsky might look at the teams track record over the years, look at the roster and see another Slovak as you mentioned . Can't say if USHL would be better for him than Swedens J20 Nationell though, they would appear to be pretty similar levels of hockey.

All the main junior leagues are close enough in ability, but Chicago is a powerhouse. Playing for Chicago is starting to become like playing for London.

Dvorsky with a hat trick in his HGC debut. He really is something to watch on the ice. Every time he steps on he seems to shift the balance in favour of Slovakia, even playing with other younger guys in Ciernik and Molnar. Very good 2 way as well, gets back and breaks up plays. I wouldn’t be totally shocked if he finished the tournament as one of the top scorers and on the team of the tournament.
