Not much to the kid. Maybe, if/when he fills out next year, he'll get another look.

Hvidston is having a very good start to his D+1 year with 6+13 in 16 games. Needs to shoot the puck more though, he has a great shot that he doesn't use enough.

Forward

5 foot 10 / 150 lbs
Tisdale, Saskatchewan
September 11th, 2004 (only few days away of been a 2023 draft eligible)
16 years old
2022 draft eligible

6 goals, 6 assists in 7 games this season for the Yorkton Maulers U18AAA team.
1 and a half years later he was drafted as a 6'2/165.

He had a growth spurt it seems, and combined with the very very late birthday, he's a prime candidate for a breakout. Very similar situation to Troy Terry back when we drafted him – obviously very underdeveloped physically, but with all the tools you want.

He will need to keep filling out, but I think he'll be an NHL player, maybe even top6.

Bumping this up with Hvidston's impressive growth year over year.

32 points in 58 games last year (13-19-32), now sitting at 49 points (16-33-49) after back to back three-point games, which included a shorthanded goal in each. His two-way game is outstanding and his growth from the beginning of last year to now is phenomenal. I'm 100% confident he'll get an ELC from the Ducks at this rate.

Yeah there is his fan club brewing on Ducks board  I'm certainly part of it

Might've been a 1st round pick this year (only 4 days from eligibility). Or that's too high?
