You would not catch me anywhere near a bear if possible. My wife and I were at a bear observatory in Alaska and hiked on a raised boardwalk to a viewing site, to see the bears catch the running salmon. We were escorted to the viewing site by a guide and ranger, both armed with pepper spray and guns. A black bear popped up about 25 feet in front of us and that was scary enough. Then, about 100 yards in front of him was a young grizzly. Both decided that the boardwalk was a better way to get to the fishing hole than by going overland. We were very happy to have our escort, and were quite nervous about running into other bears on our way back.

Circumstance make a big difference. And black bears are much more docile than grizzlies. California only has black bears. But that guy was a surprise rounding the corner of a hiking trail. Nothing to do but watch and wait for him to move on. Watching him forage, eat, and rip logs with his bare (pun intended) paws was quite fascinating. If he were a grizzly I'd have been armed with more than a camera, or just not have been there. ;)

I can send you a coupon if you want.

Not going to help now. I'll see scholarships for like $500-$1000 but you need 2 letters of reference (1 from a professor and another from a member of the Illuminati) plus write an essay on some random shit like how ancient MERS disrupted human traffiking in Mesopotamia and its impact on modern day camel jockeys and I'm just like "haha nope". It won't even make a flea's dick of a difference in my overall debt so it's not worth the effort.

Looks like Angels hired the same medical staff and athletic trainers the Ducks had last season ....

I don't follow Angels that closely, but is Luis Valbuena like the Kevin Bieksa of the Angels? Why is that guy in the lineup every night throwing up swinging strikeouts at the #5 spot, when a kid like David Fletcher can't sniff the line up ... lol

Which is worse, Angels hitters excluding Trout with RISP, or Ducks forwards on the PP? Or is this one of those black hole singularity things ...

Star Citizen is the Winchester Mystery House of computer games.
I don’t know what that means, but I’m salivating over the thought of one day having the time to play that game. Surely it’s ready by then... (I don’t know if it’s ready, it it’s been coming for years already)
