Their playoff OT record in general must be extremely good under Cooper if someone wants to dig it up.

As long as players like Point, hedman, Kucherov, and Cirelli are healthy enough to make a difference we have clutch players. Vasi can be thrown into that as well. Dallas does as well. Should be a great series.

TB is much more comfortable playing a tied game this year. We have that CBJ/NYI gear ourselves now, which wasn't the case before this year.

I've got a very comprehensive spreadsheet for OT already, when did he take over? I do know they had won an amazing 11 of their last 12 prior to losing Game 5, and now have the best OT winning percentage in the NHL by a fair margin.

Cooper took over late in the 2012-13 season but they didn't make the playoffs so 2013-14 onwards.

That makes them 12-3 under Cooper. Lost his first game to Montreal in '14, then five straight wins, lost to Pittsburgh in Game 2 in '16, then six straight wins, then 1-1 the last two games against the Islanders. Tampa Bay now 20-9 (.690) overall.

Habs were 10-1 in overtime in '93 on their way to the cup, with 7 different scorers. Only one of those wins was a series clinching game. They lost the first game of the playoffs in overtime then didn't lose an overtime game the rest of the way.

Maybe they're too mentally weak to get a win in those games, but skilled enough to keep it tied
Or just a coincidence

Well... that's one conclusion to draw from the fact that a team has good OT record.
