Its actually "Nul Points". Such a fine German tradition at Eurovision.

It's becoming a "big 5" tradition to perform badly in the finals. I get this countries think they are entitled to a free pass to the final when they pay the most money, but what they achieve is to not make friends in the semis, but enemies instead. No doubt Italy would have won if they had gone through the semis. And the other big fives would have performed better, or been saved from the embarrasment of doing really bad.

Mahmood was more of a strange anomaly as his song came off a recent record that had done well in Italy and in neighbouring countries. He got the double from Croatia and Malta and 20 from San Marino, which are influenced by music that comes from Italy.

It would make sense to have two separate semis with an all out final, but the Big 5 would have to convinced of the financial benefit to themselves. Not to mention that the competition might get bigger again as some countries decide to return to the competition (Kosovo would be in once they get EBU membership).

After fiddling with Belarussians votes, there are some small changes in the final standings. Sweden goes past Norway and ended fifth.

Apparently, the Jury votes for Belarus should be estimated by surrounding countries. Given the result gave 12 points to Israel this was obviously messed up, as Israel wasn't getting points from the other jurys. Don't know why they didn't just give the televote - votes also as the jury-votes when they had no jury anymore (would have been to simple and to easy.)
