Has anyone heard what kind of money the NHLers are getting in Switzerland, Germany or Finland? It would be interesting to know.

Several nhlers playing for MODO are playing for free.

    http://eliteprospects.com/news.php?news=1031

During a press conference today MODO announced that Peter Forsberg, Pierre Hedin, Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin and Mattias Weinhandl will play for MODO during the lockout, and already on Tuesday in the SEL opener. Two players that will more or less without a doubt join MODO are Niklas Sundström and Markus Näslund, but there are still some things that need to be worked out when it comes to their deals with MODO.

One thing that should be noted is that all lockout players will play for free during the season.

That doesn't stop most NHL-players, does it?
