Benfica is probably the worst draw possible. Not a huge name like say Chelsea or Arsenal, but a team that we have little if any chance against.

    Nice draw for Rennes.
They won't advance without beating a bigger team so they might as well take on a team that will underrate them.

Could be worse. Playing Krasnodar (congrats btw.) this year is no fun. Ask Loserkusen.

Hopefully, they punt Arsenal out of comp. Show them what farmer football is all about.

Last Czech team in the comp up against the future champs, not expect much to come of that.

Rennes a tough draw for Arsenal, much as they'll be cast as favourites, I'd say chances are about 50/50. Well, to be fair I'll give Arsenal a 5% bump

Ben Arfa might be in god mode against the coach that benched him for two years.
I'd bet on it in fact.

Speaks a great deal about the strength of Spanish league when a team that is in danger of being relegated this season is in Euro League's last 16 and is the favorite to advance.

Think Frankfurt will cause Inter problems, though usually Italian sides get the better of German ones in Europe. Although they are favorites on paper I also think Zenit could eliminate Villarreal

Meh, their 8th ranked team lost to L1's 11th ranked team. And quite clearly in fact.

    Those things don't matter much.

if he went god mode every time he faced a coach that he had issues with, he'd be god. :sarcasm:

A lot of close matchups it's good. Even Slavia Prague can play with Sevilla. Some new teams as well.

My picks : Chelsea Frankfurt Zagreb Salzburg Krasnodar Sevilla Rennes Zenit.

So what kind of garbage team is Arsenal then? Can't win anything in Europe except the trophy for the most boring fans. Don't you think your useless team would want him in midfield...

Yeah we do suck, but this tournament sucks more so we'll win it anyway. Should have won it last year already. Were the better team against Atletico in the semis. If we wanted the fat ****er we would have sign him longtime ago when people actually thought he was good. Before they understood he was only fat and lazy.

2002-2004 Arsenal maybe, certainly not this sorry Arsenal. I bet a lot of people will bet for Rennes...

    Wow, a simpleton has joined.

Anyway, UEFA decided it was too risky for Arsenal and turned the home/away upside down. Rennes will host first and Arsenal will host second.
Reason being... Chelsea is also playing.

Pretty weird since they didn't reverse either the Sevilla or Betis tie in the previous round
