If they go down this road (not saying they should...), then scratch the final stage as it is and take the CL route: group stage with home and away games, knockout stage with home and away games. There is no use in having a host if a ton of meh to eh games is what they get to host.

Sweden ended up in a tough group, but we usually do and still usually qualifies. Also, going to be exciting and tight games against Norway.

I'm not sure that I understand how this goes; :if England, Holland, Portugal and Switzerland all make it to top two of their qualifying-groups who qualifies then via the nations league?
