So so lucky to have this guy in Ottawa and have the privilege of watching him play as often as we do

God may have created Karlsson on the 8th day.. but when Dumpty asks if he walks on water in a couple of years ..Humpty better say "yes"

I mean, ice is simply water in a different state.

Also, that Jedi Hockey video made me want to watch Star Wars and play the Star Wars video games again! ... wish I had a lightSabre :P

Makes you wonder if the team was truthful about the "hairline fractures in the heel" claim. It's been over a month......there must be a bigger injury there.

EK has also been rocked a few times this series, checks he can't spin out of so it might just be general soreness.

But credit the Rangers, they have really held him in check. They play him hard and they are fast around him.

But Superstars always follow up poor games or games that are an embarrassment to their stats line with superb efforts. He'll bounce back in game 4 and be amazing.

In all fairness his -3 was due to Anderson getting caught behind the net as usual on the 0-2 goal, Stone trying to skate right through EK or whatever on 0-3, and Pfaneuf falling down on the ice on 0-4

For sure the entire team looked bad, but he doesn't look as peppy as he normally does to me.

There’s a story about how a team slotted in the mid-20s had wanted to interview Karlsson, but he had blown them off, saying he would be gone long before then [...] Dorion [...] says he is 99% certain the team in question was Montreal

Obviously was destined to be a Senator

It almost feels pointless singling out players' performances last night. It was just ugly all around and hopefully they come out stronger across the board tomorrow.

Karlsson, at 30:16mins/game, is leading the NHL playoffs in time per game and overall. Of players who are currently active, the next closest player is Alex Pie at 28:32. Next is McDonagh at 27:33 and then Josi with 25:50.

No one else is within 5mins of his per-game average. What a warrior.

And they don't mind hitting him late, or away from the puck. They've gotten away with some cheap stuff on him.

If Karlsson is ever to lead us to a Cup he's going to need to find a way to fight through whatever it is that slowed him down in Game 3.
