I've been trying to learn more about this kid, but as some of you may have guessed it's been a little hard to dig up any information on this kid considering he has the same name as another hockey player that happened to play for the same team in Sweden (freaky, I know).

Any information or videos on this kid would be appreciated, thanks!

what team would that be? not on Frölunda HC or Södertälje SK or Borås HC...

I think you've been terribly deceived... Actually I don't believe another Erik Karlsson even plays hockey. lol

Erik Karlsson is pretty good from what I have seen, a bit smallish perhaps but skilled and with lots of hockey sense. Looks like one of the best swedish forwards for the 2012-draft at this point.

All I know is that he's small. Seen him listed on the RedLine report for 2012.

He's over 180 cm so I wouldn't say he is small. Needs some weight of course.

All of them have to go to Ottawa. Imagine the starting lineup :
Erik Karlsson - Erik Karlsson - Erik Karlsson
Erik Karlsson - Erik Karlsson

Great hockey sense, agile, good with his stick. Plays a very smart two-way game, can be used in all situations. Needs to bulk up though.

Bust. A Swede needing to bulk up at that age? ;)

Great player. The Frölunda FW duo will be hot commodity out of Sweden for next year's draft.

I want Ottawa to draft him... and have EK announce the pick.

If he's a good player, that's a bonus.
