Don't see why the Bolts would trade him. RD is their weakest position, and they need cheap players like him.

This right here is why this should just /thread.

You could just state overpayment instead of reaching as far as you possibly could. While he’s a good player, if his value was reflected in “young top pair RHD signed cheaply” you’d see the remaining NHL teams with assets in hand readily at TBLs disposal.

He's one of the reasons our cap situation is not as bad as it could seem to outsiders so we're gonna respectfully decline any trade offers unless it's clear overpayment.

Yeah I feel like I had to specify because if we don’t get back a rhd our right side would pretty much be the worst in the league. So even if we got a star forward back it really wouldn’t be worth it. And we obviously have no cap space to take someone expensive either.

Not sure if this is serious. He is a cost controlled very good D-man on a team that needs cost controlled very good D-men.
Nobody is untouchable so send Rielly with 50% retained and a 1st to make up the cost difference.
