The Brantford Expositor actually reported that it had sources about an Erie to Brantford move the day before the bankruptcy news broke. Although I think Brantford could be a great market in the future, its current facilities would seem to make it unviable in the present.

Yeah, especially since even the AHL Bulldogs have pulled people in from Brantford, it's only a half hour away and First Ontario is not far off the 403.

Ideally Chatham, Belleville, Cornwall and Brantford. Problem is owners, market sizes and arenas. First, where do you find four owners, specifically one in each town? Then Chatham, Belleville and Brantford need new arenas and Cornwall would be the smallest OHL market team save Owen Sound.
