Sure on a two on one, one of them is bound to land shots... You can't protect yourself from two fists coming at you at the same time...

Have you seen Curry or Thiessen play for WBS?

If you have, it answers a lot of questions about why we're protecting our goalies, aside from the standard 'protect the goalie' mentality

He's an idiot for hopping the bench.

You have to take everything into context in that game. Not only did he see a team mate take a swing from behind (I know it didn't conect) and a goon not only take a headshot at a rookie but punch him twice while he was face first on the ground but now a player is going after his goalie? Good for him. He fought a legit fight earlier in the game and then went out to protect his team mates from felons. Great team guy and one of the better fighters in the league.

Boogaard and MacIntyre are probably the top 2 heavyweights in the league. Godard gave Boogaard a concussion and he broke MacIntyre's orbital bone.

He may be inconsistent but when he's on, he can go with anyone.
