You're not likely to find a 4th line center that's any better than Cullen was. Don't know enough about Fehr to really have an opinion, but at that contract there's zero risk involved.

He played 28 games last year and 53 in 16-17.

I got thrown by the way nhl.com sorts and displays seasons. 2016-17 looked like 4 seasons because of the trades. 53 and 28 is better, and Sharks fans seemed to like him.

I’d rather have Winnik back; he exceeded my expectations. Fehr seems like a downgrade.

Minor piece of the puzzle overall, so I really don’t think it’s a huge deal.

Fehr will be the 4th line center. Winnik was a great signing last year, and I wish they could get him to come back.

SJS fans liked him after they got him at the TDL. He couldn't get on the ice for Tor.

Another RHS guy that can take faceoffs, so that's a plus.

Really liking this signing so far. One has to wonder if him being moved around so much the past few years had anything to do with some of his performance. Either way it's nice to have someone that makes our 4th line not suck (or as hard).

Yeah I know what you mean. I recall one beer vendor at the Met Center had a knack of standing in my line of sight at the precise time when a big play was about to unravel. … but hey, I still try to support these hard working guys whenever I can. I just wish the price of beer would not go up every year.

He seems to fit the team play style pretty well. A little bit slower but with size and skill to make up for it as well as being in the right spots. Hope he keeps it up.
