If only Higuain could move, maybe that woulda been another good slip

Also the spurs game is 4 days after the second leg of their CL tie that they’re trailing in and the United game is 3 days later at OT.

    Morata is better than Higuain

Yep, not even in question. Chelsea should have tried to sign Piatek.

And Giroud is still better than both

Higuain just looks so old and slow. He’s never going to do anything in a counter.

For real though, Klopp should ***** out his team for what occurred in that few minute stretch after they went up 2-0. Hazard got through twice and they had two other times they got into the box and ****ed up.

Like, it was looking bad for a few minutes there.

That was one of the most entertaining games of the PL season.

Both City and LFC are going to win out

Well I guess now I can study for the rest of the day without the feeling of elation following a big win that makes me not want to study

I want to win the league but this has been so much fun that I don’t think I’ll be devastated if it doesn’t happen.

Too much happiness to dissect the game now. What a game. What a team.

I disagree, he's made 28 league appearances this season. He had plenty of opportunities to show something and he was a more passive and less effective Jorginho. RLC brings much needed assertiveness in the team with his willingness to make runs forward or to drive the ball into open space to create chances.

This is the frustrating part. Morata was terrible and Higuain is barely different than him. Giroud has been our best striker this season, and that's a sad state of affairs.

All that needs to be dissected is that now teams know Salah can score those and will defend him differently. That was a huge goal beyond simply the game on the field.

If City wins all those games, full credit to them, but I have no idea how they will.

Interesting I did not know that about CH @ Newcastle

Yesterday everything was just off tactically and yeah Stephens was being easily worked around and then everything collapsed as Bournemouth pressed on. The back line looked lost at the best of times. No offense to Bournemouth but it's not like they are defensive juggernauts either, would have been nice for the 4-3-3 to act more like a 4-3-3 and less of our traditional 4-5-1. Just give us a shot to go at them more CH, Andone cannot produce when he is in so much isolation.

This team has proven that when they are brave they get some decent results so I just hope CH listens to the Seniors of the team this time around and really go at Cardiff this week! We need a good result!

I would prefer it that way, rather than have another game that haunts me.

If you're the third best team in league history and don't win it, what can you do?

    Very Liverpool though.

With one extra game played and only 2 points up on Manchester United, and two extra games played and only 3 points up on Arsenal, Chelsea is in really though finishing top 4 this season. I can't see both of those teams or Tottenham bungling things bad enough for them to get in.

I wouldn't rest my hopes on United. They're not exactly world-beaters and they're not exactly going to be desperate given the implications of that game.

All my eggs are in Tottenham's basket.

They have to win to qualify for the CL. 100% have to win or get a point at the absolute minimum. The situation is good for us.

They've been in the CL 420 times. Liverpool winning the league is a bigger deal.

Not saying they'll throw it, but City will be desperate. United won't be laying it on the line like them.

Don't be ridiculous. Those players will want to beat their local rivals and be in the CL again. It's not all about us.

Yeah, I suppose the players wouldn't look at it that way. I wouldn't put it past the fans to show up in blue but that's a different story.

Regardless, that team is just very meh for me, unless Pogba goes off. Totally not on City's level.
