Coutinho is a great player. He would fit right in Barça.

He is really special. He seems to start the season slow a bit, but watching the game like today, and the way always shows up in big games...it's really something. Even ignoring the actual scoring chances he directly produced, his movement, engine and ability to carry the ball opened up City so many times...even if he didn't have the last pass his work was constantly putting City on their heels. They had no answer for him whatsoever.

Impressive football played by Liverpool

Yes Demichelis and Mangala suck , but Liverpool's offense was great, and Coutinho and Firminho were superb

Yep. Blaming City's defence would just be taking away from how great Liverpool's offence was today...in particular Coutinho and Firmino. Look at City's stats at home over the last 4 years and then watch that game again to see how truly impressive a showing Liverpool just put in.

Yaya is one of the reasons why their centerbacks were being exposed. He cant play in a two man midfield and he was getting torched.

Didn't get a chance to comment yesterday, but Spurs are really playing outstanding football right now. I'm super impressed. Dembele has been a revelation this year. Completely controlling the game. Playing with such pace and poise. Winning the ball back countless times and pushing it forward with such ease. He's so much fun to watch. He'd be my man of the match for yesterday but there's is no bad choice. Not a single player had a poor performance. Bring on Chelsea.

So here is a potentially dumb question from someone that doesn't live in England:

Do EPL teams that have many players on the England national team gain in popularity? Seeing how Spurs appear to have 3-5 starters moving forward, if they have success Internationally, would that do anything for a teams popularity within England?
