While I wont say Newcastle turned the corner with their performance against Chelsea, I will say theyve got the worst possible follow up to it.

Theyve not beaten Man City in the league away since 2000. I think theyve scored only 2 goals at the Etihad since their return to the PL in 2010 and they havent beaten them at all in the league in that time. They do have a League Cup victory, however, from last year.

Im hoping for a gutsy performance but if City comes out pissed due to their current form then Im gonna use the fast forward on the DVR...

Mitrovic barged into people amusingly, and he looks like the sort of heart-on-sleeve idiot fans clutch to their bosom, but he strikes me for a distinctly dodgy basket into which to have piled all the eggs.

Hrmm.

Sunderland were all over West Ham for that entire half and should have been up at least 3:0 (bad miss by Borini) but in typical Sunderland fashion they concede a goal right before halftime

I suppose one could say that things have unravelled for us in the last 10 minutes.
I suppose.
Quality finish from De Bryune.

One of those rare games where we were lucky to get a draw and I come away disappointed that we couldn't get the win.

Not near enough pressure with the man advantage.
