I think he gets low 70s while missing a few games. Pretty similar pace to last year, but more consistent with more sustainable numbers. I think year 3 will be when he breaks out

This is what I'm thinking as well and seems logical but even though only 28 players scored 80 or more points last year I also wouldn't be surprised if EP40 broke 80 or even hit 90.

He is a very special player.

I'm assuming he's playing 82 games I think with more ice time and a better LW he can hit 80 to 85

If he shoots more, his shooting percentage will go down even further.
The idea behind shooting more is he'll still score goals even with lower shooting percentage. Shooting percentage means nothing to me as a stat to be honest. You can't score if you don't shoot of course the more you try the less your percentage will be but you'll also produce more chances to score. Tongue twister there but I'm sure you get point.

I think with Vancouvers upgraded defense and improved wingers EP40 should score at a PPG pace, the only question is how many games he plays.

You're completely right, people blow the shooting percentage thing way out of the water. Its almost like people will grasp to any negative he has just so they don't have to recognize his greatness.

Under. His shooting percentage should come back down to earth this year. Could also be affected if league scoring dies back down a bit.

Playing with Quinton Hughes, possibly Boeser and Ferland should make him more consistent than last year.

Do t forget most his points were primary points, not secondary. Imagine him actually having talent around him.

More players are aware of him now and he will face tougher competition and be targeted more. He racked up a lot of points earlier in the season last year because he flew under the radar for a while. I think 70-80 is a good prediction if he clicks with some of the new additions.

He’s on pace for 99 points, I figure he ends up around 90 as long as he plays 75+ games.
