For the Devils, the one thing is that I don't think they will go with 2 centers at 18 and 20. They are set up the middle for the future with Hughes, Hischier, and Zacha and are very barren on the wings. Overall though like the mock a lot.

Sanderson to OTT just makes no sense. Especially over Raymond.
We are already loaded on the left side. With Chabot we are already maxing Sanderson out as a #3 guy. Whereas we really don't have a guy like Raymond. The sky's the limit for him (We really don't have anyone blocking him) and he has immediate opportunity.

Giving our Familiarity with Frolunda too, I think if Raymond is there its him.

I based that pick on the multiple reports that they've interviewed him several times and have interest. But I see your point.

I'm going to be a bit upset if Askarov is on the board at 13 and the Canes don't take him. That said, Jarvis is my second choice at that pick, so I won't be too upset.

been getting into a big argument with my fellow Oiler fans about whether or not to take Askarov because i feel that the Oilers lack of desire to "waste" a 1st rounder on a goalie has continuously hurt them ever since they drafted Dubnyk in the 1st and had success with him. i'm all for it but they seem to think it's too much of a gamble and you have to wait too long for him to develop, and when he does the likes of McDavid will be playing in Toronto by then. i'll never understand this mentality because the Oilers will still be here post McD and post Leon so why not think a little beyond that time ?

If those names are off the board before the Rangers pick at 22, I would definitely keep an eye on Guhle and Greig for them.

While the former plays a position for which there is quite a bit of prospect depth, he's definitely on their radar and would've been at the spot they originally occupied before winning the lottery.

Like it for Montreal. I like Zary and Bourque too, but the familiarity with Holloway playing with Caufield makes him a likely pick

I can't see Ottawa going Sanderson there when they have Chabot, Brannstrom, Bernard-Docker, Thomson and Tychonik for young D prospects. Their forward prospects consist of Norris, Batherson, Formenton, Pinto and Brown. None of those guys scream star player. They need some game breaking forwards.

I think they would likely go Raymond or Rossi at 5 here.
