EEHL reunion. What do you think?

Gennadi Savilov, the head of Belarus hockey federation, recently said in his interview that Ukrainian "Donbass" participating in Salei Cup-2018 can be considered as a pilot case of the reunion of the Latvian-Belarusian-Ukrainian league. The idea has been raised from time to time over the last couple of years by Belarusian hockey officials, now Savilov claims it's not cancelled but just postponed.
Would be nice to see what Latvian and Ukrainian fans (and officials if it was ever discussed) think of the idea. Should EEHL be reestablished?

Since BOL broke apart EEHL, hockey has gone backwards in Latvia and even more so in Ukraine. Only worthwhile addition to any EEHL like tournament indeed is Donetsk, so this idea probably won't have legs. There's no money in hockey at the moment.

@Michal This is a thread for that EEHL project.

@Toro2017 I copied your plan also here.
So if Baltic states would go with BHL, then could the others build a new version of EEHL with Belarussia, Ukraine, Poland and Slovakia? Six team division (for each country) and after regular season they would first play playoffs for divisional winner (national winner) and then go to conference finals and final.

Well Donbass clearly need somewhere better to play. Is it worth the extra travel costs for all involved though?

Personally I'd like to see it.
