Have Edmonton and Red Deer moved further apart?
When I lived in Edmonton it was only just over an hour to Red Deer and about 2 and a quarter to Calgary.
Either you lived in Leduc or you set your cruise at 145.Have Edmonton and Red Deer moved further apart?

My uncle is already talking about missing x-mas that year so that he can stay in Edmonton longer to do just this.Ticket economy is, as ever, supply and demand. Priced out? Well, the downtown atmosphere is still going to be special so find a bar.
I'm actually surprised Mantioba isn't getting another one before us. Or was the attendance just that bad when they had it?With Fifa coming to Edmonton(not confirmed),I have a feeling the Winter Olympics 2026 will also be held in Calgary and Edmonton(hockey).
Edmonton finally getting some nice things
If you drive like 140km/hour maybe.

Good luck with that now. If the weather is good that you can speed they have dozens of police patrolling.Yeah, usually drove about 125-135 on Highway 2 with no stops. Never got a ticket (though I did get a warning once) and traffic was always pretty good. Could get to Banff in about 3 and a half going through Carstairs and Cochrane.
Maybe most of my trips being early morning or later at night on the weekdays and not getting hung up with bad traffic also helped.
125 on the highway to Calgary is the sweetspot. I can drop to 120 without having to sudden stop and still be okay with not getting a ticket.Good luck with that now. If the weather is good that you can speed they have dozens of police patrolling.
117 a guy from work got caught last year. Was even better that when he got to Calgary the 2 day meeting turned into a 3hour meeting that probably could've been done by conference call.125 on the highway to Calgary is the sweetspot. Do they ticket left lane drivers now or is that still not a law on the books in Alberta?Good luck with that now. If the weather is good that you can speed they have dozens of police patrolling.
