he is not the same player he was. Rewatch the games that led up to him being sent to the farm. Brown was acquired because Eager had lost it

Brown is definitely more effective in the role of a fighter but Eager is definitely better at the sport of hockey. I guess with Gazdic around they don't need Eager to fight, he better be throwing the body though or else he's useless.

Brown hasn't won a fight since March. Something I'm sure hasn't gone unnoticed.

Our fourth line needed a little more skill on it. It was painful watching them spend the majority of their shifts chasing the puck in our own zone. Eager will be able to move the puck up the ice better than Brown can.

I don't think the issue is with Eager's fists. It's his brain isn't up to sustaining anymore punches to the head.

I agree he fell off, I don't think he's as effective of a player when he's the only one expected to do the heavy lifting.

His contract doesn't make him very attractive to teams looking for a dirt cheap 4th liner. He's overpaid.

I thought Brown gave his all in every shift which is more than what I can say for a lot of other forwards. Appreciated his work ethic. I know obviously that's not enough.
