If the bruins win tonight without their captain, do we all start talking about how their better without Marchand?

He’s an idiot for sure. Just not in this case. He’s gotta say SOMETHING

He should say they'll focus on beating them on the scoreboard.

This Panthers team thrives on emotion. The best thing to do against them is to keep it boring and clinical like in game 1. Ignore anything else like Vegas did in the Finals.

You don't beat them by amping up the intensity and emotion. Just saying as someone who watches them a lot. You'd think teams catch on by now.

This does nothing to refute my point. You can “logically” assume all you want, but you can’t “convict” without solid proof of the infraction.
There is no visual evidence of the fist hitting head.
There's no assuming involved. Everyone knows what happened. There is only one possible explanation. It's not rocket science. But go on with your defense attorney charade.

Crap sake people. I'm really sure Bennett finally worked his way back into being able to play in a playoffs where his team has a legit chance at a Cup, then decided to risk suspension by intentionally sucker punching the other team's captain in the head.

Bennett knows how important he is to the team. He will be a key piece against NYR. No chance he intentionally concussed Marchand.
Intent has absolutely nothing to do with it. He did it. Anyone can say they weren't intending to concuss someone with a punch to the head. It doesn't change the fact that it happened.

Ridiculous. They play a hard hitting game. They’re not out there sticking out knees or giving chicken wing high elbow fly-by hits. They play in your face, aggressive hockey, and people get all twisted over it.

Nobody had an issue with Florida when it was hard hits and fun fights (Tkachuk-Pasta).

But an unpenalized and unsuspended sucker punch to the face of the opposing team's best player and captain changes the complexion of the series. The league has made it clear that deliberately trying to injure the opposing team's best players with cheap shots is a legit strategy.

We'll see if Boston also chooses to go down this road. It would obviously be in their interest if Florida's best players were no longer able to play in this series.

Do I think that Sam Bennett did what he's accused of doing? No.

But Panthers fans, it's time to just own it.

DAMN RIGHT Sam Bennett knocked your bitch ass captain out with a broken hand at the speed of light for trying to fight Barkov, bitch!!!!

He'll do it again too in less than a blink of an eye to anyone else who stands in our way.

There's literally nothing you can do about it either because Sam Bennett punches faster than the human eye can see in real time, so the refs will never know.

Boston is really good even without the rat. Funny to me that Bennett is called out for a dirty play on the player who has a long history of cheap shots and dirty plays.
Why is that funny? A dirty play is a dirty play regardless of players involved and should be punished.

Marchand was suspended for this. I'm not sure what your point is.

Lol you didn't even watch the video. There are like 15 dirty plays on it.

In case you still don't get the point, the crying about Bennett is laughable when Marchand is the dirtiest and most suspended player in nhl history. You know, glass houses and such.

It can be both. Marchand can be a punk and that punch can be a shitty play.

It’s because the league said that, as a result of game 2, game 3 was going to be “heavily scrutinized”, which, of course, meant that it was only going to be so scrutinized for the Bruins while the angelic panthers were going to be allowed to continually get away with their constant crap. NHLOL hypocrisy at its finest.
Yeah, because the NHL loves the ratings monster Florida as opposed to the tiny village of Boston.
