This has been way a way better game than games 1 and 2 if you're a Devils fan. Tampa didn't have too much trouble with those games but this has been very tight.

If you look at the shots on goal through both game 1 and 2, it's not like they were hugely lopsided towards Tampa. The Devils collapsed completely in a few stretches where they gave up most of the goals. They have played a much tighter and complete game tonight.

Devils team is a NON-PLAYOFF team without him, Period.

Shots are not everything. Tampa hasn't really been a team that outshots their opponent every night. Even in the 2nd period of game 2, which cost NJ the game, they outshot the Bolts 15-10. If you just look at the shot totals from last game you'd think the Devils were dominating that game. This has been a waay better game for the Devils but now they're getting outshot 28-21.
