I’ve noticed that the most dedicated Leaf haters hail from the GTA and surrounding areas. As Don Cherry once said you “love our milk and honey” lmao. Maybe lots of economic migrants from Les Habs land?

both teams have a lot of flaws. Boston more built for the playoffs. The Leafs weaknesses get highlighted in the playoffs and they have an awful track record in the playoffs. They either flip the script or Boston gets through. If Matthews, Marner and Nylander don’t show up it’ll be an easy pass through for Boston. Honestly can’t say I have a prediction on this one

Do you ever get tired of repeating the same bullshit as an Oilers fan and being obsessed with our team and complaining non-stop that people won't stop talking about them but then you do the same shit? Seeing pages and pages of Oilers fans on their own board going on and on about how happy they were that Matthews missed the 70 milestone and how the Leafs are a garbage team because of the last four games comes across as incredibly embarrassing and quite frankly lacking self awareness big time. When McDavid hit 100 assists it was barely discussed on the Leafs board and if it was it was simply congratulatory. You and your buddy Kerberos even voted on our forum predictions poll for the Bruins winning.

I genuinely don't understand what's wrong with Oilers fans and why you care so much about Toronto, it's bizarre. Outside of when we play you guys, I couldn't give less of a f*** about the Oilers or the city of Edmonton. Btw, what you said is just straight up wrong as most media, Toronto or not, favour the Bruins as do the betting odds. Our own fans are quite conservative in their takes as well and most see it as a coin flip series.
Spot on, and local media will proceed with showing endless Bruins gwg highlights from 2013/2018/2019. It’s some kind of art of self flagellation for the gloating fanbases across Canada.

Honestly just simple math not hate. This core has 1 series win in 8 years together. Bruins defense and goaltending is better, give forward edge to leafs. I’ll go bruins in 6.

Went for the Bruins. Heart talk. This first round match up is IMO a flip coin.

Leafs has 2 sieves in goal and a questionable D. Also alot of playoff chokers.

Miracle on ice if Leafs takes more then 1 game !

Leafs are still too soft, weak, fragile and heartless to see playoff success this season.

Boston in 5.

Good thing they are playing a team they out hit in the reg season.

Remember when Chara crosschecked Gallagher, a man a full foot shorter than him, in the face and even mocked him for snapping his head back, and not even getting a penalty for it? I sure do!
Comparing Charas stick riding up in a scrum that Gallagher started to Kadri skating across the ice to cross check Debrusk in the temple (as if that’s some how better than the face  ) when the puck was no where near him is certainly a bold hill to die on

Bruins PP is embarrassingly worthless which gives Toronto's goaltending a chance. Playoff teams should be around 40% in a series against the Toronto defense/goalies, but the Bruins will be lucky to reach 10%.

Special teams will decide this series. Bruins PK and goaltending will need to shut down the lethal Toronto PP.
I dont think its going to matter. our goalies let in awful goals all the time. unless we get top notch play from Samsonov I just cant see them winning 4 games.

we will see. hope this time where I have zero faith they find away to win more than 5 games

Riding up? Are you blind lol? It was a direct shot
Yes riding up, this has been hashed out years ago are you new here? Also what does Chara being taller have to do with anything? That just puts Gallagherhead at his arm height lol
Laughable you think they’re even remotely similar plays

It’s not the leagues problem the Leaf’s players have the emotional restrain of a toddler

Get Lasik done buddy. And it's pathetic that Chara needs to use his stick against a dude half his size

Leafs need a goalie to play evens with the Bruins’ goalies. If they get that and have more power play opportunities then they have a good chance of winning. If their goaltending is subpar and they don’t get an advantage on the power play they have little chance.
