Toronto is the better team.

Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares, Rielly, etc.

Boston has Pastrnak.. But Marchand isn't any better than Tavares anymore. After that, do you think Coyle and Zacha match up? I don't think so.

It's fairly even imo. Bruins led the division all season and had Toronto's number all year. Toronto has firepower, Bruins have D and a better goalie. Should be a good series, could go either way. See how that works. Easy.

I think the Leafs could certainly win, but the safe bet is Boston. I certainly like the Leafs chances better here than against Florida.

Holy f*** balls. The reffing in Bruins vs Leafs series is just totally disastrous. Shockingly bad.

Even though they beat us all the time and give me nightmares still, their series are generally very entertaining hockey.

This aint the bruins of old. Bruins bottom 6 is pretty ass and their defense outside of Mcavoy is mid. Lindholm is having a garbage year. Bruins goaltending is far better and could most likely be the difference maker

This is gonna be a close series as usual.

If you think Lindholm is having a garbage year, you don't really understand hockey and should just be on here to read and learn.

If the Leafs goaltending holds up, the series will be a coin flip.

I like the emotion this series will bring so I'm glad it's Boston instead of Florida.

Bruins did a good job throwing their final couple games to get an easy opponent.

Leafs stars don’t show up, Bruins beat them. We’ve seen this story so many times.
We agree here. It is going to be a sweep.

Boston going to throw Lindholm/McAvoy as a super pair against Matthews every shift they can and make Tavares/Nylander beat them.

How well that works is going to be the series.

Leafs don't run Tavares/Nylander together anymore, it's Tavares/Marner with Nylander on L3 occasionally taking shifts on L2

The top line is Bertuzzi - Matthews - Domi

Not saying they will but Leafs need an emotional roller coaster series win against an arch rival to really get going in the playoffs. This is probably their best match up in the first round to get to that mind set
