Surely it was accidental

Ofcourse it was, if there is a letter B on your jersey everything is accidental. People wearing the B on their jerseys didn't stab anyone; people jumped on the sharp object held by people wearing the B on their jersey;

special note: it is really the person wearing B on their jersey whose nose resembles Pinocchio's nose

Massive win, didn’t get a star but Pleks was huge tonight

About time they used Pleks vs Bergeron's line. Thought that was the only reason why they traded for him. At the time, it was almost guaranteed Leafs were getting Boston in the first round.

Pleks can easily get on Marchand's head too. Seen it way too many times in Montreal. If they put Kadri back on that line, Boston will go to second round.

I'm under no illusions that that was the Bruins A-game, but that was far from the Leafs best game, either.

Huge props to the old geezers who stepped it up when we needed it most and led by example. Worth every penny.

And thank god Rielly was Rielly again, after 2 embarassing performances for him in the first 2.

Really the bruins should never have been in this game - Freddy let in 2 horrific goals to give the bruins life and it almost sunk us. But to Freddy's credit, he hung in there and came up with some key saves to seal the win. Hopefully that last ridiculous save gets Freddy his mojo back and he starts rolling again.

Next game will be tougher than this one. The leafs'll have to step it up again. Especially Matthews and Willy - we really need them to step and take control of one of these games.

Bruins should relish those first 2 games. Leafs haven't lost like that once this season and everything the Bruins put on net went in. 4 goals on 6 shots is hilarious. Meanwhile, guys like Kapanen hit the post 3 times, pucks are trickling 3 inches wide, missed off-side calls (Marchand's goal) etc. etc.

Even tonight was an average game for Leaf standards. Expect them to build off of this and get back to their game. Expecting a 7 game series.

Leafs D is poor. They were extremely lucky that Pastrnak missed 3/4 open mets.
I honestly wonder the acumen of Babcock. He's supposed to be the best coach. At least he's getting paid like it. And surely, he must know his defense is susceptible. He's got to come up with a scheme to mitigate the achillies heel for his team.
Sullivan figured it out when he lost his best defensman for the whole playoffs and still got a Stanley Cup with 2 pair of 3-rd pair defensemen. I dont follow Toronto but there are some glaring issues that seems that Babcock has not figured out on how to cover with scheme for his team.
