It may have been between those two because they were the only two teams that made a bid for. Usually there are less than five, and sometimes only one or two, bids to host the all-star game.

Very likely what it could’ve been. I know in the past (2020?) Allen had put in a bid to host and lost out to Wichita I believe. Idk if they’ve continued to bid or not
