I’m just a random observer here lol, but going off what the SCF schedule has been last few years I think Memorial Day will be the start day of SCF. The NHL does not want a game to go head-to-head with the NBA Finals and the schedule of M-W-Sat-M-T-Sun-W is the best one to avoid that chance completely.
