Excited to see this too, but last news from EHM TBL was that it is still ongoing tweeking out bugs and testing.

Has one of the big two and active DBs KHL players stats for 17-18?

NHL32/36 is only updated for the NHL through 2017-18 for stats history. I’ll always keep the NHL updated so rookies and prospect lists for the league are accurate but player histories in other leagues are far down my to-do list. Too many other things I like to tinker on.

Working on it, close...massive update with mid-season player rating updates for major leagues and national teams, hundreds of new prospects and college commits, refined future NHL draft classes, added/updated smaller Euro leagues, a new Seattle expansion draft import file and a new option for a WHA dispersal draft which stocks each of those 18 clubs with a handful of core players and prospects from an exposed NHL player list to help jump start that league. Just need to test that out a bit more and add in all the Seattle graphics for the various versions of Seattle’s identity that I’ll bake into the database (plus need to do a quick tutorial for showing how to utilize it).

I have added most of the career history and touched up most of the stats.

Hmm, I got your rosters through steam, while I do appreciate the great job, I can't play as I think that most of the players histories are stopped at 16-17... or maybe I am missing something?

Because my save crashed in 2141, yeah 2141 (due to me, I used editor for edit names).. so it's time for new save. And I want really good DB.

I'm going to be a total tease here since the release is not quite ready, working on a bug with the game not correctly representing dark/home vs light/away in-game team colors but here are the 7 varieties of Seattle that will be built into the next build of NHL32/WHA database. Massive thanks to @sparkychewbarky for creating all the brilliant logos and identities! The colors will all be named in a way that it is simple to go into archi's editor's imply change the name of Seattle on the team screen and set the preset corresponding colors in the Colors screen and viola - assuming you download the NHL32 logo and background packs, the entire identity of the team in your game will be changed. You can even change it using the editor in a saved game if you get bored of your current Seattle identity.

Be sure to click on the links below each identity for additional in-game screencaps!

    Seattle Sea Lions
    - This is my favorite sparkychewbarky Seattle identity so it will continue to be used as the default base. The trident and waves really give this Sea Lion some "bite" to combat the rival Sharks and Orcas (Canucks). Sea green and shale really capture a stormy Seattle feel.

    Seattle Kraken
    - From the depths of the deep sea comes the famous Kraken, it's giant tentacles menacing all those who cross paths with it. I dare say, I think this was sparky's original and most famous Seattle concept. Has a fun and unique color palette with a rusty reddish base and gold and teal highlights.

    Seattle Metropolitans
    - A classic NHL name gets a classic NHL look as the Metros return to the ice. Sparky has created a logo that is both modern and art deco and cleverly captures the iconic Space Needle in the design. A simple kelly green and white color combo adds to the timelessness.

    Seattle Pilots
    - The Pilots of course were the original MLB franchise in Seattle but they return here as the identity of the new NHL team, albeit with a very different look and feel. Brown, black and antique white and a super sharp, classic looking logo create an old-time feel...the road look is also feature the antique white as a base instead of a standard pure white.

    Seattle Sawbucks
    - A really clever name and logo that unites a historic local industry and native wildlife. Awesomely rendered "buck" over a serrated roundel backdrop and they take to the ice in classic Seattle colors inspired by the former NBA franchise, the SuperSonics.

    Seattle Steelheads
    - Another day, another super clever sparky logo featuring a stylized fish in the shape of an "S" in very "steel" shaded colors. The local ties are further reinforced by a teal-ish color scheme taken from the city flag of Seattle (which also features the same flowing shapes that the logo has).

    Seattle Totems
    - For a long time, the NHL32 database used the original classic Totems logo as the Seattle identity. Well, sparky has outdone himself with a fresh new take on the Totems brand, featuring a soaring Totem rendered at an angle for a really unique look and with a bold, bright color scheme.

Will there be a new version of NHL32 that doesn't include the WHA?

No but if you don’t turn on WHA I find it doesn’t make much of an impact on the NHL.

Has anyone else noticed that the All-Star selections in the AHL are kind of wonky? I play with the NHL Jets but also manage my AHL team the Moose. Even though for the last 5 seasons, I've always been in the top 5 teams and had at least 2 or 3 players in the top 10 in scoring, I have never had a player selected to the AHL all star team.

My latest season for example, I had the #1 and #3 scorers going into All-Star selection and once again didn't land a single player in the All-Star game.

It almost seems like a bug where the Moose aren't considered for the All-Star team.

Not a big deal, I'm just curious about everybody else's experience. I'm using the EHM rosters from last Christmas.

I need some testers for the next release, there was an issue I ran into with the extra_config that is pretty hard to re-produce. I don't have the issue when I launch it but one of the guys helping me did have the issue. I'd like to get a few folks to just fire up the test DB to the team selection screen, don't need a full sim test or anything like that just to see if we identified and removed the issue (a FUTURE_TRANSFER with a bad entry).
