Great matchup. Tampa is a better team than their season stats post TDL. Panthers want to go all the way this year.

I kind of like how the Panthers match up to the Bolts, but Tampa is dangerous man. Opportunistic scoring and goaltending if they get it can frustrate the hell out of ya.

Definitely won't be a similar series than 2 years ago though. Tampa's checking master class was what led to the Panthers making those changes. Kind of funny how they made the finals before getting a chance to see what's different this time against the Bolts.

Bolts fan, but for me the Panthers are the cup favourites as well as the team most likely to injure your star player. Didn't want to draw them in the first round at all.

Last regular season game was when tampa won 5-3 . Vasilevsky faced 50 shots. I got lightning in 6

Panthers in 6. I'm really hoping for it to go to 7 though to see another game of the absolute entitlement from Maurice to bitch about the officials while he sends out the dirtiest team in the league.

Great matchup, I think it's going to be the best series of the 1st round. Voted Tampa in 7 but it's as close to 50/50 as it can be.

How nasty is this series gonna get

Lomberg, Tkachuk, Cousins and Bennett are gonna attempt murder probably 6 times each and probably injure half the Lightning lineup by game 3 alone. The Lightning used to be by far the nastiest team in the league but all the dogs are gone now.

Florida should take this but you can never count out Tampa and their knowledge on how to win these games/series until they actually lose the series.

Not a breaking news take by me but yea it will just come down to which goaltender gets hot this series and special teams. Either goalie can "steal" a series.

Definitely giving Tampa the edge on special teams. Once opponents realized the puck was going to Reinhart in the slot the Panthers PP has been ass.

Should be a good series with a lot of scuffles.

Tampa Bay has the best player in the series in Kucherov, and we know he’s going to step his game up in the playoffs given his history. If Vasi shows up, they can pull it off, but part of me also thinks Florida is due to get over the jump against them at some point.
