I've been doing this for like 4 or 5 years now, so let's get this party started.

Rank what will be the best teams in the Eastern Conference. You can choose to pick what team you think will win the East and be in the SCF, OR what team you think will finish 1st overall at the end of the regular season, use whatever criteria you think is most applicable...as this poll goes, just keep going based on who is left.

Here are the current Division setups:

Atlantic Division
Boston Bruins
Buffalo Sabres
Detroit Red Wings
Florida Panthers
Montreal Canadiens
Ottawa Senators
Tampa Bay Lightning
Toronto Maple Leafs

Metropolitan Division
Carolina Hurricanes
Columbus Blue Jackets
New Jersey Devils
New York Islanders
New York Rangers
Philadelphia Flyers
Pittsburgh Penguins
Washington Capitals

Montreal. Can't bet on Bobrovsky, not necessarily repeating last year's performance, but being a consistently good goalie throughout the year. I think the goaltending makes the Habs better than the Blue Jackets.

going with Columbus...I think they are good....but Bobrovsky was just a flash in the pan.

He's not going to keep up those numbers but he's no flash in the pan...

He was good in Philly too. He made some unbelievable saves every game. I could (and probably am) wrong but he was starting for Philly when Pronger + Timmo were injured and Philly's D just looked plain bad. It's hard to perform infront of a terrible team. (Again, this could be completely wrong -- i'm just going from memory)

Went with the HABS. Dont Trust BOB to have another season like the last and thats the kind of Goaltending the CBJ will neet to contend for a Playoff Spot. Dont Trust Philly Goaltending either. I do trust Price will have a good year.

If Bob was a flash in the pan, the Jackets are in BFT. We can't score and if not Bob in goal who? Curtis McElhinney.
