First dont compare ..second the bruins are at what almost 400 consecutive sell outs.
Bruins had an estimated one million people at their parade.
Whats the costs of good season tkts in Tampa?
When i askec the question .i really wanted to know how many Tampa had...didnt think it would trigger off such defensive responses.
Tampa won a cup.as a young expansion team..imo there should be no issues with support.

Someone posted on the main board a list of quotes from players after each game saying how they need to step up their game. It all sounds good but they need to show not tell.

Aside from the first period of game 5 they have not shown. I get that a team can look like they are playing better but not actually be playing better. Games 3&4 are potentially examples where caps had lots of shots but not many from high danger areas. Whereas Tampa did have more high danger area chances and converted.

While that worked I’d still like to see a game where they take it to the Caps and not only look like they are better than the Caps but prove it.

Is anybody familiar with the rules of hockey? I'm a casual watcher so not sure how everything works but I was wondering if Tampa was allowed to prevent the other team from scoring any goals? I read somewhere that they have a Vezina finalist, a Norris finalist and acquired another #1D st the deadline. Does anyone know if by assembling what would seem on paper the best backend in the playoffs they couldn't shut any teams out as that would be even more unfair?

Not really when only Nashville had more shutouts in the regular season. I just think they're underperforming defensively and the PK still sucks.

Just wanted to say thank you to the team
not gonna post this one at GDT
not gonna post any motivational speech cuz I believe our guys know what to do
and I'm sorry if I just sounded like I want nothing but a perfect game from you guys. People may discuss if a team deserves/ deserved to win the Cup or not based on how one plays/played. Well, after letting my mind soak in the thinking universe for a while, I somewhat came to the conclusion that as long as you play like you want it enough, you do!!

So, I'm really grateful that we're given the chance now. I just hope we are allowed to have a few more weeks of hockey with you guys!!

I don't mind how ugly it gets as long as no one from both teams gets hurt and how dirty any of our goals can be!! If any of you guys hate to be the hero(s) you can always insist you are a mere human being after the game so please do not be afraid to stand out. Please be yourself and do our thing!!!
