Who is the stud C who is thought of as the #1 in two year's draft wise? Wright?

Yup. Shane Wright. Over 30 goals in the OHL as a 16 year old. He's looking like a for sure first overall pick, though I'm not sure if he's Auston Matthews caliber or McDavid caliber. Either way, the kid is going to be a star.

Him and Lambert are phenomenally good.

Like, two right-handed playmaker options.

Either one would be the final piece for our rebuild.

A) Elite center
B) Elite playmaker
C) righthanded PP maestro to feed all our left-handed shooters like Mantha & Zadina.

Ash’s Early 2021 Rankings And Evaluations

Just sharing because I came across this and it had a lot of clips for 16 top 2021 prospects. I know there's a questionable ranking in there, don't blame me. Unfortunately L'Heureux isn't here either, he's fun to watch.
Power at #13 is a bit WTF. But I do enjoy all the clips.

Johnson at #7, as well.

Now that I look at it, this guy seems to really value goalscoring. Like really really.

It's way too early to take rankings seriously anyway. I hope season(s) go ahead with some normalcy because it would be a great indicator to see Power and Johnson play at such a high level.

This. Don't reach for Sanderson over the likes of Perfetti and Raymond when there's excellent LHD prospects coming up next year.

I've been saying this for a year, when I first started studying 2021 draft. Also it was great time reach for Seider in a weak forward group at 2019, because it was obvious already at 2019 draft, that 2020 is full of great forward talent.

This is really different draft.

Like year ago, we knew Lafreniere is the 1st pick. We also knew Byfield/Stutzle are the Top3. Now it's totally open. In different ranks we have seen 4 guys as 1st overalls, and 7 guys as 2nd overalls.

The order is still on the play, and closest than maybe ever. 7th overall could be as good as 1st overall. Very very different draft we have experimented lately.

100% sure that Räty will fall from 1st overall postition, because he is doing just average things at the moment. He could fall drastically, easily from 1st rankings to 8th. Power could be the 1st overall.

That Top7 seems to have somekind of an edge, 4 of them defencemen. So, with very high probability, our pick could be defenceman, to join Hronek, Wallinder, Seider, Tuomisto -group. And those guys are not small. Could be heck of a defence on the making.

2022 is forward draft again. And a center draft. Right-handed Center draft.

That 2022 "X" will complete our rebuild.

LWR Raymond --- "RC X" --- RWL Mantha
LWL Bertuzzi -- LC Larkin -- RWL Zadina
LWL Fabbri -- RC Niederbach -- RWL Veleno
LWL Smith --- LC Rasmussen --- RWL Svechnikov

(LWL Hanas, LC Söderblom, RWL Berggren)

LD "Power" - RD Seider
LD Wallinder - RD Hronek
LD Merrill - RD Tuomisto

(LD McIsaac, RD Lindström)

Can't forget that Luke Hughes was born a week before the draft cutoff. While he doesn't flash the same dynamic puck skill as his brothers, he's still ridiculous young for this draft. He's almost a full year younger than Power for instance. There's a lot of room for him to develop some offensive game to go with his high end skating and more traditional NHL size.

Agreed
this is our guy(for now)
He's a right shot too. He is very dynamic with the puck and looks to be neck and neck with Byram when it comes to offensive toolkit among recent draftees.

Right shot is nothing special for us anymore, at defence, when we have Seider and Hronek. There's no need. It would be fine to add extra, like always.

More interested about those LhDs, currently.

Think we'll draft LhD. Power, Lambos, Edvinsson, Hughes. That the most probable guy.

No Johansson LD?
Merrill over McIsaac? (doubt Merrill is here then)
Tuomisto passes Lindstrom already?
Svech over Berggren?

Top 6 RHC is crucial. It'd be nice to have 1-2 RW-RHS also

It could go anyway. Don't hang myself on any predictions. Names in some order. That was mostly a "fun" lineup.
