Have seen Bolduc often (6-7 times) over the last 3-4 years. He is declining in my opinion.

best prospects in Outaouais and Selects du nord are both goalies. Talbot has lots of energy, we will see next year. There are 3-4 kids who should go in rounds 5 to 10 in both places, but no skater besides Verreault who stands out.

Lions get alot of hype and ARE skilled but besides Vidicek, Swan and Lastraza, who is gone, none of the others are locks to be in rounds 1 or 2. Tizion21 is right on, compete level and IQ aren't as good as people here say.
Saw outaouais and Talbot was hard to notice on the ice, 4 or 5 kids with decent size though.
Have you had a chance to see Cam Squires from PEI, looks like the next big player from the island. Not available this draft but should be high 2021 [/ QUOTE]

Cam is a freak... won the Scoring race as a rookie this year for a joke, his skill level alone is rare, another year to put on some size and he will be another dandy to come out of PEI

Est-ce qu’il y en a qui doute encore que Luneau sera le premier overall après la performance qu’il vient de faire au jeux du CANADA ?

Somewhere in Quebec.
Yea right now he is, Warren can’t skate like that, Charbonneau isn’t even close to that kind of skating.

My take:

Overall Luneau

Size
Warren
Charbonneau
Luneau

Skating
Luneau

Warren

Charbonneau

Hockey sense
Luneau

Charbonneau
Warren

Offence
Warren
Luneau
Charbonneau

Defence
Luneau
Charbonneau
Warren

Think that’s comprehensive enough, Warren could pass Luneau, I think he had the potential to do so, but he’s still raw physically and has grown again. He’s also not as mature.

Charbonneau’s biggest problem is the skating rn.

ok, but that's easy. Luneau should be first, the other two should be in the top 18 (first round)
There will be some 200 players drafted, my grandmother could probably figure out the top 10 to 18. What about the others? I will shortly give a list of the western teams, I've seen them all at least twice, some more but I haven't seen the eastern Quebec teams enough.
note: There are not many New Brunswick kids who will go in the first three four rounds.

Some observations from the past 2 months:
2004 will produce a deep crop of defencemen.
Coté is my pick for most explosive player, but is small.
Verreault is a close second but is small.
Vidicek is the most complete and should go in the top 10 (easy prediction)
Bolduc is a fast, fast skater but is not a good defenceman.
Rouyn has 3-4 forwards and 2 tall D who should be drafted.
Delaronde plays on a bad team but sill plays good D.
Mastrodominico could be drafted ahead of Charbonneau.
Bishop is good but not a first rounder.
Rozzi can score but Coté can score more.

Heard from a little birdie that Victoriaville will be trying very hard to get the first pick in the 2020 draft.
Have seen Lessard often, can't see him being a prospect. I'll have to watch him more on livebarn. Coté does force shots but I've seen him create plays for his teammates as well, if he's not on that team, they are barely better than Arsenal.

I've seen nothing from Ritchie this season, Ratelle is a hard worker. Brassard must have had good games when you saw him, Caron and fournier were better than him in the games I saw.

Can you project what rounds the gus on my list would go if the draft was this year?

I love your list. I'm sure we've made some mistakes or some players will prove us wrong. It will be interresting seeing how all these kids develop in the next year.

I'd say Brassard and Ratelle are decent for Conquérants too. I'd add Gervais for Seigneurs ahead of Maltais. From Selects, I think Verreault, Legault, Doucet and Ritchie are the best prospects. Pierre-Noel and Lacoursière are the only real prospects from Lanaudiere for me. Guarnieri is a guy I love too. Think Heroux is a 2005. For Laval I'd add Mouradian, very quick player but limited hockey sense. Think Lessard from Grenadiers is one of the best puck movers in the draft, surprised you don't have him there, I like him more than Coté as a prospect who has been very frustrating to me because he forces shots every time he touches the puck despite his high-end talent.

For the teams more in the Quebec area (with round I expect them to go)

Triolet :
- Poirier (4-6) small offensive d very mobile
- Michel(1-2) one of the best d in the draft, very trustworthy and talented
- Begin(3-5) small but high-end skill and vision
- Dufour(6-10) power forward

Mauricie :
- Juneau (2-3) playmaking center, needs to add speed
- Lafontaine (5-7) two-way winger, fast
- Lefebvre (4-8) two-way d, mobile
- Michaud (6-10) defensive d, physical
- Filion G

Lévis :
- Lavoie (1-2) two-way d, complete package, consistency needs work
- Nadeau (3-4) power forward, size, speed, shooting ability
- Fauchon (3-4) quick forward with smarts and skill, needs more size
- Marquis-Laflamme (5-8) skilled fwd can shoot
- Boulet (4-6) power forward w size and speed

Beauce :
- Labbé (1-4) High-end skill player with great hockey sense, needs to be consistent in effort.
- P-O Roy (1-3) Very stable 2-way d, smart player
- Labrecque (7-14)

Est du Quebec :
- Drapeau (2-4) very mobile, competitive d with upside at both ends, needs to be consistent
- Labrie (5-8) all tools, needs to be smarter and more disciplined
- Coté (10-14) fast, skilled but forces plays

Vert et Noir :
- Fontaine (1-2) high-end 2-way c lots of skills
- Maltais (1-3) big gritty fwd w skills and smarts
- Beauchemin (2-5) 2-way d
- Mianscum (2-5) high-end talent, needs to be disciplined
- Xavier Roy (3-6)
- Grenier
- Delorme
- Launiere G

Cascades :
-Desruisseaux (3-6) high-end talent but individual and compete level inconsistent

Noir et Or :
- Pelchat (1-4) small skilled fwd who does it all, very smart and creative
- St-Michel (4-6) 2-way winger
- Larocque
- Charbonneau

Typhons + Cyclones :
- Fortin (1-3) high-end skill and vision, great playmaker
- Beauregard (1-3) strong skater w great skill and scoring ability
- Delage (5-8) two-way d, inconsistent
- Morin and Auger are okay

Lac St-Jean :
- Tremblay (3-6)
- Gagnon (3-6)
- Guay (5-9)
- Gagné (3-6)
very deep team but not much high-end talent in my opinion.

don't know if I forgot some team, but that's from what I've seen.

As for putting your guys in order :

Vidicek
Rozzi
Mastrodomenico
Dumais
Iasenza
Bishop
Guarnieri
Vetrano
Verreault
Patella
Akkouche
Côté
Pierre-Noel
Hryckowian
Lemaire
Sullivan
Bjorn
McMahon
Reid
Lachance
Lacoursiere
Doucet
Delaronde
Legault
Richard (had him higher but his play with the puck has been awful in last viewings)
Fortin

didn't rank them all because that was a lot of scrolling up and down, but this is the list of guys I think are pretty good, the others I think are more depth picks. Have not seen Citadelles yet.

THIS IS ONLY BASED ON MY OWN VIEWINGS, OPINIONS.

Very accurate list in my opinion. We're on the same page at 95%.

I would add a few players:

Barry (2-4) Noir et Or (injured for now) Forward
St-Pierre (9-11) Noir et Or Forward
Delafontaine Triolet Goalie
Loshing (1-3) CCL Forward
Brosseau (6-8) CCL Defence

Too much to quote....

Mastro isn’t better than Charbonneau, let’s not compare kids in Midget to kids in Bantam.

Soo...

List is pretty solid, Theoret has a ton of skill but lacks consistency, always liked Brassard and Ratelle could be something.

KPN has always been hurt by a weak age group, some of these guys I haven’t seen. So outside of the LSL CBL and MTL it gets tougher....

Rozzi can really score, always has been good at that and I find him really raw.

Wintersun mentioned Lessard that’s a good one to watch he’s good, Grenz aren’t the biggest team.

On Arsenal Delaronde is up and down pontential is there. MacNeil is soo good and he’s got a great attitude.

These kids look so good in a Bantam and than come midget so many fade.

Haven’t seen Loshing but heard he’s good and yes Heroux is a 2005.

Oh and my Darkhorse would be Verreault, kid is so underdeveloped and hella shifty. I also really like Vetrano he works so hard.

Never wrote that.

Wrote he could and I'm comparing 04 to 04. I THINK Mastro would be a top 4 or 5 Dman, not a 6, on many MAAA teams.

Again, alot WIL change in the next year. For example, as you wrote, some kids don't make the adjustment toMAAA.

I agree with the Coté - Verreault comparison but wil repeat : right now Coté is the more explosive scorer, Verreault has been the smarter player. Size is an issue for both, Coté is more physical, at the moment.
I wouldn't want to have to defend against either of them.

I mean, Verreault has a lot to like about him and I would rate him a first rounder or at worst second rounder at this point. Size is the only real issue with him. Much smarter player than Coté, much more dimensions to his game. Loshing has blazing speed and great hands, his effort is pretty inconsistent however and he won't give you much without the puck.

Will be at the Quebec Games this weekend where every good Bantam player will be, should be a good event to give a solid update on the players.

It's going to be a very interesting tournament. Higher level of play than the Belair Direct Cup (U14 Structure intégrée) of last May. There are 3 more teams but each team will count 18 players instead of 20 and will include the best 2005 players. Some of the best players from LHPS, RSEQ and Prep Schools will also participate which wasn't the case at U14.

There are 6 pools and first place teams get to quarter finals. The 2 best second will join them.
After taking a look at each roster, here are the teams that I expect to finish first in each pool:
Estrie / Rive-Sud / Chaudière-Appalaches / Sud-Ouest / Lac St-Louis / Laurentides
For the 2 best second place: Flip a coin!

1 Estrie, 2 FLIP, 3 FLIP, 4 Abitibi, 5 LSL, 6, Laurentides

meilleur 2e : CAP et SagLac

I hesitated with abitibi but they don't make many changes to their roster and their team play/strcture isn't usually an issue.

Pools 2 and 3 will be too close to call and no second will have a good enough differential.

I would bet ...... 1$ on my picks lol

quebec west,

Si on combine nos prédictions, on a un bon taux de succès. :)

The players I liked or that surprised me :

- Jordan Dumais (was by far the best LSL forward, saw all 4 games and he was the best in each and every single one of them).
- Justin Côté
- Nathan Bolduc
- Yoan Loshing
- Xavier Roy (He's a bit under the radar with Fontaine, Maltais and Mianscum there but he's an elite skater who does everything well)
- Kency Pierre-Noel (Looked extremely fast and played well, took the lead for his team)
- Isaac Menard (loved him in M18 for Seminaire St-Joseph but he looked very small and weak there, looked like an elite skater with incredible skill in Bantam with his age group)
- Felix Gagnon (best fwd for Saguenay easily, very skilled and creative forward, love him)

Looking at the 05s for a while now, I think Morin, Fecteau, Spadafora, Wener, Ouellette, Courtois, Cataford, and then guys like Baril, Elie, Grenier, Goyette, Carriere, Beaudry, Boisselle, Lauzon and Talbot are the guys to watch for now. Haven't seen much of the guys from Releve though.
