I noticed that 4 of the current top 5 Q scorers are 1st time draft eligible for 2006. Each is averaging about 2 pts per game over 5 or 6 games:
    Derrick Brassard- Drummondville
Yanick Rendeau and Hugo Carpentier- Rouyn
    Matthieu Carle (DF!)- Acadie- Bathurst

    and
Bryan Little leads the O with 10 pts in 4 games.

Any comments on these guys or other CHL 1st time draft eligibles starting off well?

...add to that OHL DF Ben Shutron (Kingston) with 6 pts after 3 games. Teammates Emmerton and Hughes are at 7 pts in 3 gp.
How are they doing beyond the nice stats?

From the WHL: Ben Maxwell. 5 points in 3 games, should have a huge season.
