Boyle is less of a liability defensively than Girardi and at least offers some offense.

If Girardi was acquired as a free agent at age 29, people would not go out of their way to defend him (Not here, don't get me wrong). Ranger fans love their homegrown players

Girardi and Boyle should be rested...and not just one game 2-3 for sure....but we all know AV .
