Dumb question about sticks.

I was wondering how you put the wooden extension on the end of a one piece stick, like theres like dry glue or something on the extension and do I just like throw it in the oven and heat it up? :biglaugh:

lol, im clueless.

Im 6'4" so I need an extension put on my sticks. right now I have found tall enough sticks with no need for extensions but I want like vapors and synergies and stuff.

right now I have a vector camo and a rbk 4k.

yea you just heat the glue and it should slide right in, wipe off the excess glue remaining once it dries. Also make sure that glue is even, if not take a knife and spread it cause if it's uneven the butt end might shake a little bit, really annoying.

heat up the top of the shaft so the shaft expands and then go slowly when inserting the plug. For good measure I always tape my grip past the plug for two reasons:

1) So that mentally I forget it's there and don't worry about it coming out.
2) It just looks better.

I'm taking it you want to get longer sticks to avoid those long butt ends?

Well, most of the Easton sticks have a butt end already stock, so they always a tad shorter. I find most CCMs, Nike Bauer, and Montreal sticks to be pretty long...or longer than the Eastons.
