I believe so. And with the injuries and Ritchie holdout, Rodin was given every opportunity to earn an NHL job. Looks like he failed.

Dan Wood was very complimentary of him in the loss to Arizona that nobody saw. Thought he might get a bit longer look.

Gulls need some focus now, so I'm not surprised at all. The Ducks focus on the standouts and the obvious choices. Comtois seems to put it all together which is great.
