Talented player but he really needs to mature. Pissed off the coaching staff from day one

Did he give them all wedgies or fart during team meetings?

Missed practice like his second day here - ah - allegedly - because he was *out late* the night before.

He'll battle Sherwood and Comtois for ice time while Eaves, Ritchie and Gibbons are unavailable. Personally I would have preferred one of the two Buffalo options though (Bailey or Baptiste).

He's top-6 or bust. Too much of a tweener though. Wish he was feistier.

Has some skill but no grit or tenacity. Doesn’t go to the net. If he did he could be an effective player. Good luck to him.

he's our Rodin replacement most likely. He'll probably play some games if Gibbons is out, but when he's back, I imagine he'll be in pressbox most of the time.

Meh, would have preferred some grit for the 4th line.

Good for him, if there is a team where he can still make it it's Ducks. Make or break season, the last one this time, me thinks.

True but that coaching staff is terrible and has pissed off oiler fans even more.

More of a Gibbons replacement I think. That way they can just send Contois back now to his JR team.

I suppose we could claim Jaskin and try to sneak Aberg down for extra depth.

    Jaskin is on waivers?

He's a guy I would have liked to try with Getzlaf and Rakell on the top line even, as a net-front presencse and complimentary winger with (maybe) some untapped potential still. But then I remembered we could soon have Ritchie for that.

Yep he was waived today, so many good young rookies made him expendable.

For those interested, this cost Anaheim $41,250, paid to Edmonton and not counted against the cap.

He won't make it past Buffalo. They're stealing all of St Louis' bottom six forwards.

I mean, Jaskin's been in the league 4+ years and hasn't broken 20 points once. He kinda made himself expendable.
