So, in the end, the trade ended up like this:

COLORADO
Bowen Byram
Samuel Girard
Vladislav Kamenev
Shane Bowers
Andrew Hammond
Justus Annunen
Danilla Zhuravlyov
Matthew Stienburg

NASHVILLE
Matt Duchene
Kyle Turris

OTTAWA
Lassi Thomson
Vitali Abramov
Jonathan Davidsson

COLUMBUS

Sweep over #1 seed in the NHL, and one of the best regular season teams of all time.
2 wins in the second round to the eventual Eastern Conference champions, who were one game away from a Stanley Cup.
Keeping Montreal out of the playoffs.

Nice trade lol!

Updated with the correct results of the trade for Columbus. Still worth it.

If they sign him, what happens with Turris?

Trade to Columbus with pick/s (from Subban trade) for Dubinsky (two year’s left)?

Impartial fan just throwing that out there. I’m no familiar with either teams depth chart or intentions.

Has to be a typo unless someone has some crazy insider info that literally no one else is privy to.

NHL Rumors: Latest Buzz on Artemi Panarin, Matt Duchene and More

He loves the city and is making a country album apparently. We need a tip six centre. He will get massive tax breaks in Nashville. He fits in age wise with most of the team. Etc, etc, etc.

I think this one is a no brainer.
Agreed. Perfect fit.
As long as Nashville has a 7 year $70mill deal waiting.
Cant wait to se what that looks like when he returns to his career average numbers (his contract year stats sure stand out).

 If he returns to his career average he'll still be above average for Nashville's second line. Well worth an overpay for a team that needs a 2nd line center.

His career average is basically the same as what Johansen has averaged in Nashville, maybe even better and definitely includes way more goals. Can't complain too much about that.

Duchene's average is around 55 and Johansen's is 50, although if you take away Johansen's first two seasons when he hadn't broken out and it's 62. Certainly wouldn't complain if we sign him for less than what Toews makes though.

Ummmm Colorado
And CBJ have made the playoffs the last 3 years and have the 3rd most cap available in the league
Ummm Colorado was the youngest team to make the playoffs the past 2 years. So wrong again.
Go back and look, Columbus has been one of the youngest teams in the league over the last 4-5 years.

No need for the attitude.

Edit
Oldest and Youngest NHL Teams of 2018-19 Season

At the beginning of the season Columbus was tied with Winnipeg for the youngest team in the NHL. But nice try.

Screenshot_20190627-142358_Samsung Internet.jpg

And last season tied with Colorado to start the season...

Double edit, Just to keep going:

16-17 jackets started the season as the youngest in the league.

Listening to LeBrun on the radio.. says that Nashville is the frontrunner for sure, but wonders about him signing there due to "The Nashville dollar" meaning taking a bit less like everybody else has.

Also mentions that visiting Montreal wouldn't be a courtesy visit as other teams asked to meet with him in person and he declined.
