Well, considering most Flyers fans want like two 2nds for him. . . more. You under that we are talking about a very tough 2nd pairing defenseman signed through the end of next season at a very fair deal, right?
Not long ago that wasnt the price. Not even close to that really.

Again...Gudas value is likely around a 2nd and a 3rd....or 2 2nds.

But to CONVINCE the Flyers to trade away their only RHD who is not a rental, plays top 4 minutes, and adds toughness, your offer must not only beat that offer, but give the Flyers something they actually want.

It's like someone saying Andreas Johnsson's value is a 2nd...then offering a 2nd+6th...and saying "well I beat what he is worth". It still would not give the Leafs anything they need vs the value of keeping AJ.

Flyers don't want to trade Gudas and know that in the summer or even next years deadline, can fetch that same return. So either give up something the Flyers actually want, which is not picks or 4th liners, or look elsewhere.

Easy as that.

You forgot to use the Hakstol idiot filter.

Since Gordon took over, Provy, Sanheim, Ghost and Gudas are playing the most at ES as it should be. AMac and Hagg the least.

Christ, Hakstol used AMac as a top 2 Dman at ES last year. Leafs want him instead? Didn't think so.
Fair enough:laugh:

For as many times as we've talked about Gudas to the leafs, you'd think this would be understood by now.
