Whether now or at the end of the year, this was bound to happen. Miller was a solid PK forward for many years, but he has to go based on younger guys replacing him in the lineup and his cap. I do hope a team will pick him up at some point.

Hm? Ott was never brought in with expectations of playing 82 games. He was a depth guy that was going to come in and out of the lineup over the season. He's been fine.

at least ott can win faceoffs and occasionally throws the body. miller was by far the most useless/ redundant player on this team this year.

Before anyone mentions faceoffs, I count 4 guys with 100 wins and higher percentage than Sheahan, and that's before mentioning Zetterberg and Larkin, who should both stay at center.
