Still don't understand how the Norris winner and one of the 2nd Canadian leading scorer is still a question mark and behind weaker Dmen. Makes no sense at all.

Team Canada wants an even number of LD and RD (nevermind this "logic" doesn't apply to the forwards)

Team Canada wants someone they can trust on the ice (because the Norris Trophy often goes to unreliable dmen)

Team Canada doesn't want to risk Subban's flamboyant, arrogant, out-of-control attitude distracting the team (nevermind that this is being said about a guy who never once bad mouthed a coach that routinely ripped him in the media)

Team Canada is worried that Subban will pout if he goes from being "The Man" with Montreal to being a PP specialist with Canada (because apparently he's 12 years old, and his statements about how'd he'd love to play for his country regardless of the role assigned to him are just lies)

The very fact that they put Dan Hamhuis on the same level as Subban is :help: worthy.

Subban played that minor role at D in 2008 WJC with no issues.

The best part about the whole LD vs RD thing is Babcock plays with 6 left handed defensemen in Detroit and it doesn't seem to be an issue at all for him.

Seeing how terrible Team Canada was leaving off some great prospects on the WJC team. I can fulling expect them to be Pejorative Slured enough to leave Subban off the national team as well.

The roster seems okay. If it comes down to Boyle vs Subban, they definitely need to pick Subban. I don't care if he's the #7 D, hell work his way up in no time.

If I were Yzerman, I'd stay the far **** away from Nash. His play has deteriorated lately, and while he can still take over a game from time to time, I'd much rather go with Duchene. He's probably one of the best options in Canada for the big ice with his speed and skill.

I'd also play Tavares with Getzlaf and Perry, and have Bergeron center the 4th line. He was so important for Canada in Vancouver. Don't play him too much at ES, but with him and Toews on the PK, Canada will have a huge advantage in that department. As for Couture on Crosby's line, I'd rather a speedy sniper there. A Sharp-Toews-Couture 3rd line would be great, we could then put Benn or even Hall (if not for his defensive issues) with Sid.

Anyways, Yzerman better get this **** right because if he pulls some Rychel over Domi or Anderson over Poirier ****, we're screwed.

I would dump Nash for Staal and Boyle for Giordano. If PK is not in the top 6 dmen then these guys are fools. Time to get the politics out of picking these teams as they tend to pick the guys who have played in events previously and end up picking the wrong guys.

Usual Team Canada neanderthal approach. Take some physically punishing team to a finesse tournament, then complain something is wrong with our hockey program when we lose. If Rick Nash is on this team before St Louis, I'll vomit. Half this team is only there because they are 'Hockey Canada's Boys' , good or bad. They make the team no matter what.

I would switch Boyle for either Hamhuis or Giordano and Nash for Marleau.

Wouldnt mind Kunitz instead of Benn just for Crosby but I think Benn is the better player.

Toews - Sharp, Getzlaf - Perry and Stamkos - St.Louis need to be together.

How is this team 'neanderthal'? It's not like Lucic or Phaneuf are on the team. I don't know about you but pretty much all the forwards on the team have a nice combination of size, skills and speed.

Team Canada is going to get picked like how the team Canada wjc was picked. They won't win the gold, yet again.

This. They overthink everything. Just pick the best players possible and the rest will take care of itself.

4th or 5th place here we come.:handclap:

Put it this way, Subban would make every single foreign national team easily. If Canada leaves him off and they don't win Gold then it shows there stupidity.
