Drawing Penalties - Stats?

I had to laugh when I saw the Gretzky as the greatest passer thread. Yeah based on what? One guy says its the "Truth" :biglaugh:

I saw those games and no one was allowed to slash hit hook $99 without hearing about it from the NHL/Eagleson/Bettman/Buddy Campbell/McNall (Chair of Board of Governers for awhile!) etc so....

Anyone (pnep) have stats on drawing penalties?

ESPN had some time ago details of every game, but probably not full statistics:

Information was like that, let's say game is between Minnesota and Vancouver:

17:22 Vancouver Ed Jovanovski: 2 Minutes for Hooking Marian Gaborik
or something like that.

But there was some funny thing, in a game between Toronto and Ottawa. Remember that Hossa played for Senators back then.

11:21 Ottawa Marian Hossa: 2 Minutes for Roughing Daniel Alfredsson

I'm pretty sure that Gretzky being the greatest passer has something to do with the fact that he has more assists than any other player has points. Also, if you went to hit him he found an open man.

I know Hossa draws a lot of penalties, but I don't think the NHL keeps tabs on that.
